this little moon

well, i haven’t been on here in a while… but i guess i just haven’t really had much to say… or much time to say it.

mostly it’s just been more of the same… class during the week, randomness on the weekends… hmm, lets see…

well, we picked housing for next year… that turned out pretty sweet. i was planning on living in a dorm again, cause i wanted to live with gillian, and she’s only going to be a sophomore, so wasn’t eligible for an apartment, and it was a nice dorm, so i didn’t care. then, melody asked me to live with her, and she’ll only be a sophomore too, but she has a medical excuse to get an apartment, but needed eligible roommates, so she asked me, but i didn’t want to abandon gillian… but then i remembered they had screwed up my housing last year, and while that actually turned out better because of the screw up, they had still promised me priority housing for this year to make up for the drama/trauma, so we used that to get gillian into the apartment too… and then when they assigned us our place, it turned out to be right where we were hoping, and even better, it a freaking sweet apartment, that happens to be currently occupied by a couple guys that melody and i are actually good friends with, so its reeeeeeally funny.

spring break happened… that was nice… ages ago now, it seems. i had been planning to go to pittsburg for the first couple days, but it just kept getting more and more complicated, and a couple days before i decided i just wanted to go home, so i did… i’ll get out there eventually, hopefully before the end of the semester, just for a weekend, but if not, i’ll go in the fall. being home was nice, cause i hadn’t been in over a month… just kinda hung out with my puppy, and occasionally friends… read a lot… ben and jess got married, so that made for a fun saturday at the end of it!

last weekend my cousin got married, so my daddy and i went out to wisconsin for that wedding… first time i’d been to wisconsin… it was kinda random, because the cousin who got married is from chicago, and last i checked she had just moved to minnesota, so when i looked at the plane tickets when i was home for break and saw wisconsin i was all sorts of confused! it was a good time tho, got to see all the cousins i hadn’t seen in years (one of them seriously not in probably close to 10 years)! crazy weekend of transportation too… thursday night i took the train 2 hours from school back home, friday morning we woke up at 4:30am and flew 2 hours to milwaukee, and then drove 2 and a half hours to the middle of nowhere… and then sunday we left at 4am to drive back to milwaukee and fly home, and then daddy drove me back to school monday morning.

hmm… what else… well, registration for fall classes is going on… i’m signed up for a tentative schedule, but i’m pretty sure i’m gonna change things up so i can have my bible class with sarah… and potentially make it so my earliest class starts at noon. that’d be faaaaabulous.

oh, and i get to see obama and hillary clinton talk here tomorrow! somehow messiah got picked to host the compassion forum, and i got picked as a volunteer, so i’m an usher/seat-filler, so i have to be there like 3 hours before the shindig starts, but in exchange for volunteering they’re letting us stay to watch, so thats mildly exciting.

i’ve been to walmart 4 times in the last 3 days… and didn’t buy anything… just thought i’d throw that out there.
